There are two 18-hole golf courses around Apia, the Royal Samoa Golf Club a few km to the east of town near the Fagalii domestic airport, and Faleata Country Club, a new championship course set slightly inland on the gentle slopes of the inland mountains. Both golf courses are open to the public with a ST$12 green fee and both offer golf club and shoe hire with options to hire a golf cart.
