Air New Zealand is one of three major airlines offering regular flights to Samoa. The other airlines are Pacific Blue (which took over Polynesian Airlines in 2008) and Air Pacific which flies from Fiji. The international airport is Faleolo Airport (APW) and is situated on the north coast of Upolu Island about 30-minutes drive to Apia Town.
